Welcome to the FAQblog!

Not really an FAQ, and probably not much of a blog either – this is just somewhere that I can jot down some musings, drivel and other random thoughts pseudo-anonymously.  There is no real challenge about tracking down who I really am – Facebook and the like took all that fun away – but this is just somewhere that I can use to add some thoughts about things that are going on, without it impacting too much on my professional life.

I have my own technical blog and website for my business, which I want to keep separate from my gibberings – I can remember thinking it was a bit strange to be reading on an Oracle blog intended for business intelligence users about how the guy writing it wanted Arsenal to lose in the Champions League.  This way, I can keep some degree of separation between my personal life and my technical / professional life

Also, having been burned once about being less than complimentary about someone I worked with in the past, I hope to avoid that mistake by keeping everything separate

So, once again – Welcome!  I dread to think what I may end up writing here…..
